Holocaust Remembrance Project

This first-ever report rating individual European Union countries on how they face up to their wartime pasts regarding the Shoah (Holocaust), was published on January 25, 2019 to coincide with UN Holocaust Memorial Day.

EUPJ Brussels was responsible for the research, compilation and publishing of this ground-breaking report, known as the Holocaust Remembrance Project, in order to bolster the European Commission’s Rule of Law campaign.

Researchers from Yale and Grinnell Colleges travelled throughout Europe, and local representatives from the EUPJ checked their work and their findings.

This report has been well-received, well-publicised and widely read.
